Drift is a free game supported by ads. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. Drift has no accounts, no sign-up, and never asks for your name, email, or contacts.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Gameplay analytics (Google Firebase Analytics): events such as runs started, depth reached, retries, and settings toggles, along with a device identifier, device model, OS version, and approximate (country-level) location derived from IP. Used to understand how the game is played and improve it.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): crash stack traces and device state at the time of a crash. Used solely to find and fix bugs.
- Advertising data (Google AdMob): ad interaction data and, only if you allow tracking, the device advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. If you decline the iOS tracking prompt, ads are non-personalized and the game works identically.
- Game Center (Apple): if you're signed into Game Center, your scores and achievements are submitted to Apple's leaderboards under Apple's own privacy terms.
- iCloud (Apple): your best depth is stored in your private iCloud key-value storage so it follows you across devices. We cannot read it.
WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT
- No name, email address, phone number, or contacts
- No precise location
- No photos, microphone, or camera access
- No data sold to anyone
PURCHASES
The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Removing ads stops banner and interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads remain available by choice.
YOUR CHOICES
- Tracking: decline the tracking prompt, or change it anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Ads become non-personalized.
- Personalized ads from Google: see Google's controls at adssettings.google.com.
- Remove ads entirely: available as a one-time purchase in the game.
CHILDREN
Drift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The third-party services above are configured per their policies for general-audience apps.
